Knott's Berry Farm is one of the must-visit amusement parks in California for any adrenaline junkie and for good reason. The amusement park is full of rides and attractions that will satisfy thrill seekers out there.

However, certain things have changed ever since establishments reopened during the pandemic. In fact, many establishments have opted to go cashless to avoid physical contact between park staff and guests.

For those eager to visit Knott's Berry Farm, there is one question that should be asked in regards to this.

Has Knott's Berry Farm gone cashless?

The Answer to the Question

The answer to that is yes. Knott's Berry Farm has gone cashless.

"At Knott's Berry Farm, we want you to have a fun time with your friends and family, without sacrificing safety in any way," Knott's Berry Farm says on its website. "That's why we're moving toward all cashless payments throughout the park."

What this means is that you should have a credit card, debit card, or smart device with Apple Pay or Google Pay when visiting the park. To pay, all you have to do is swipe or tap where you would normally use cash.

Knott's Berry Farm Has Cash-to-Card Kiosks

If you happen to be unwilling to use your personal cards as well as your digital apps, no problem! Knott's Berry Farm also has cash-to-card kiosks. You can use this kiosk to transfer cash to card, which you can use anywhere in the park. The minimum amount that can be loaded to the card is $1 while the maximum amount is $500.

It should be noted that no fees will apply if the card is regularly. However, a $3.95 fee will be charged every month after 92 consecutive days of inactivity.

Another important thing that you should take note of regarding these cards is that they are not reloadable.

Is There Really No Place That Accepts Cash at the Park?

While most of Knott's Berry Farm has gone completely cashless, there is an exception to this. As of writing, only in-park Crafters will accept cash from visitors of the park.

With that being said, make sure you're armed with your apps or chosen cards to have a hassle-free and convenient time with your friends and family.
