Many entrepreneurs think they have to do everything on their own to make their business grow. Even more: they take pride in doing everything on their own. And while it is important to know your basics of e.g. marketing, sales and customer service, it's often too time consuming to do it all yourself. Even more: at some point, when your business grows, you'll start doing a less-than-ideal job just because you don't have the time to do it well. At that point, you can hire someone, but you could also outsource a service. That's ideal if you don't want to hire someone full-time for it, but also if you want to get the work done by someone who's specialised in it. After all: a full-time marketeer will know better how to optimize ads campaigns than you probably do! That's why outsourcing can actually help your business grow. In this article, we talk about which services we'd recommend outsourcing.

1: Online marketing

Whatever business you're in, you probably look at online results of competitors and you might think: "how are their ads everywhere?" or "Why do they have all the number 1 results?". The answer to those questions is usually that your competitors have joined forces with an online marketing agency. Of course, everyone can make some Ads on Facebook. But making ads that have a high click-through-rate and are shown to the correct demographic, is a bit more difficult. Same goes for SEO: everyone can write some fun text for a landing page, but SEO content that reaches top 3 spots, is a bit harder to write if you've never done it before. In short: if you want to grow, you need a marketing agency to have your back. You can stop spending so much time on your marketing and you know the agency will do everything in their power to make you grow.

2. Customer service

Did you know that many big companies outsource their customer service to external companies? It's understandable if you think about how much time customer requests can weasel away from your day. A lot of questions you might get, aren't even 'big' ones, often they're things that customers can easily find on your website. If you're quite done dealing with this, you can hire an external company to take over your customer service. The handy part about using external companies is that you can choose what they take over for you, e.g. all questions but the sales-questions. You can even train their customer service agents to speak the way you want them to. Handy!

3. Taxes and debt collection

Do you also hate paperwork? Then filing your taxes is probably one of your least favorite things to do. Luckily, an accountancy firm can help you out. They'll make sure your taxes are always in order. Another partner firm that's handy to have, is a debt collection agency. When one of your debtors stops paying, you can of course call them yourself to ask what's up, but often you'll notice that your calls won't be going through. It's important for your firm that your invoices are always paid on time. That's where a debt collection agency (Dutch: incassobureau) comes in. Hiring a collection agency (Dutch: incassobureau inschakelen) has many benefits. For instance, they can figure out who's behind a company when you can't find any personal information, they can send a bailiff to seize assets, they can take your debtor to court and if that doesn't work, they can even take your case to appeal (Dutch: hoger beroep).
