"Game of Thrones" season 7 actors are said to be paid with £2 million per episode of the series. Apparently, this will make them among the top and highest paid actors in the history of television shows. HBO has raised the budget for the upcoming season with a shorter but with the utmost quality.

Independent reported that the new contracts involve bonuses which will be base on the percentages of syndication payments among 170 countries. HBO is spending over $10 million on each episode and the upcoming season is set to have a big budget.

Basically, this increase will also help the series creators portray battle scenes that viewers have never seen before. One of the showrunners, D.B. Weiss revealed that they always aim to make a story-wise and a budget-wise kind of battle on its episodes.

Further, five of the series main casts already signed with this record-breaking deal which will give them an additional income of $2.6 million per episode. Apparently, this huge addition to their pockets will make them one of the top earners in Hollywood in terms of television shows.

Other casts of "Game of Thrones" like Lena Headey and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau also got the same deal and will make them experience a dramatic increase in their pay as well. It was also revealed that the series has the largest salary per episode and it surpasses the previous record held by Jennifer Aniston for having a $1 million per episode during the final season of "Friends," Screenrant reported.

As of now, season 7 still has 13 hours left before it wraps up this season. This means to say that if these stars who signed their contract choose to stay up to the next season, then they could enjoy a lucrative pay amounting to $34 million as "Game of Thrones" returns in summer. Could the cast sail up to the end? Let's wait and see.
