Ivanka Trump represented her father during the W20 Summit held in Berlin, Germany where she took part in a panel discussion on women's rights. When she mentioned about her father, Donald Trump as a "tremendous champion of supporting families" and whose administration is an instrument of change, the audience booed the First Daughter and some even hissed at her statement.

Her father has been called negative when it comes to women. She dismissed it by saying that the media caused to spread the inaccurate news and she is a witness to it.

Ivanka Trump arrived in Germany this week and it is her first time to address women after she was given a position in the White House. Before her appearance at the summit, her father praised her on social media and informed about her upcoming attendance at the W20 event as per Blasting News.

Ivanka started off introducing herself and her role in the White House. Miriam Meckel, editor of German business magazine Wirtschaftswoche asked, "You are first daughter -- German audience not familiar -- what is your role -- to whom are you represented? Your father, the American people, or your business?" She had a follow-up question asking if Trump is an empowerer of women.

According to CNN, Ivanka's response was one which she observed from her father on his trust in the capability of women to accomplish tasks just like men. She also admitted that she is a feminist and in view of that, she said, "I think of feminism as believing in the social, political and economic equality for all genders."

Some of the Trump critics did not let the event pass without some comments. One Twitter user wrote, "Just watched this morning! The apple doesn't fall far from the orange." Another user wrote, "Nepotism as it's worst. She is not qualified to discuss world affairs, her only qualification is daughter. Sad."

Ivanka Trump's arrival in Germany has increased the scrutiny of the Germans to the U.S. President's famous daughter. Her popularity has been triggered by issues that she is defying her father's "America First" slogan because she continues to do business with China.
