Rihanna has received backlash after photos of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's head imposed on her body were shared on her Instagram account. Many found the photos to be disrespectful.

The 91-year-old monarch was seen wearing a green hat on her head attached to the singer's body wearing a matching fur green coat and boots. The photo was captioned, "Be Humble."

In another photo, Her Majesty wears a red heart-shaped coat paired with tiny shorts and high-heels. There was one where the queen wears a diamond-encrusted tiara and she wears a Gucci bodysuit with a white tank underneath paired with shorts.

Supporters of the longest reigning monarch who ruled for 65 years were offended. According to Daily News, one supporter wrote, "She deserves respect no matter what you think of the monarchy." Another one commented, "Rihanna can't help it. This is all she knows." "She has no respect for a real queen."

Time reported that some fans of Drake's ex-flame loved what she shared. One fan wrote that she felt alive looking at the snaps.

The "Work" singer has received backlash, particularly from the Queen's constituents as they see the photos as disrespect to Her Majesty. In her kingdom, she is the respected monarchy who is being looked up to. She is the law inside the palace and to the royal family.

In this time and age, everything is possible but not everything is permissible. Putting a person in a state of a humorous situation is inhuman especially if the person is a dignitary. No one has the right to put another person in a position to be ridiculed.

The posts were intended for good as it was to celebrate the queen's 91st birthday. However, the image of the queen becoming like a meme is not something to appreciate. Rihanna is yet to know the reaction of Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the royal family.
