Some "Xbox One" and "Xbox 360" owners may have missed out the free titles offered earlier for the month of April, but not to worry. Microsoft is again giving out free downloadable titles through their Games with Gold program. This month, amazing titles are given out. "Ryse: Son of Rome" will be available for free download for the whole month.

According to Express, Microsoft offers two new titles for "Xbox One" and "Xbox 360" every month that gamers can download for free. It is usually split up so that they can go live at different times. For Games with Gold April 2017, two new games replaced "Evolve: Ultimate Edition" and "Darksiders."

According to Gamespot, "Evolve" was offered for free until midnight of April 16, and "Darksiders" was for free for the rest of the day. Beginning April 16, "The Walking Dead: Season Two" will be offered for free on "Xbox One," while backwards-compatible "Assassin's Creed: Revelations" will be available for "Xbox 360" and "Xbox One" from April 16 to 30.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has added "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" in the backwards compatible list. Director of Programming for "Xbox Live" Lawrence "Larry" Hryb said that the "Xbox 360" hits keep on coming, thanks to the "Xbox One" Backwards Compatibility program. "We've got one of the biggest hits of all. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is now playable on Xbox One via Backward Compatibility," Hryb said on Twitter.

The game will is also part of the company's Spring sale for 2017, Travelers Today reported. "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" is now being offered at half the regular price. Gold members get a 60 percent discount for the game.

It may be too early, but fans are hoping that Microsoft will soon announce the Games with Gold May 2017 line-up already. The company is expected to do so within the week or next week.
