‘Winds of Winter’ Likely To Release After ‘GoT’ Season 8, Fans React To George R.R. Martin Tweet About Appealing To Younger Audience

Fans will likely watch "Game of Thrones" season 8 first before they could get a chance to read "Winds of Winter." Meanwhile, the author of the book, George R.R. Martin, tweeted that he was asked to appeal more to the younger audience and the fans react to that.

According to a report from The Wrap, Martin tweeted that his publishers asked him to try to be more appealing to the younger audience. The creator of "GoT" included a photo of himself with the tweet, wearing a half-cocked baseball cap and with the word "WAZZZUUUPPP!" embedded in the image.

Though Martin was trying to be funny about the incident with his tweet, fans took the opportunity to react to it and press him about the "Winds of Winter" book. The report said that one user tweeted that "the quicker" Martin finish the book, "the younger" his audience will be.

Another even tweeted that Martin should "finish 'Winds of Winter' before" some of them "die." It's clear that almost everyone is anxious and a little frustrated with the delay of Martin's book.

But it seems as though the book is not yet close to being published, considering that Martin recently said "Winds of Winter" will be delayed and will not come out on the expected date. When the book will come out is anybody's guess, but Celebeat is saying there's a big possibility that "Game of Thrones" season 8 will likely be released first even before the book comes out.

The report said that Martin needed more time to plot a good finale for "Winds of Winter." The author has also had a busy schedule and a lot of commitments, making it hard for him to find time to finish the book.

Only Martin knows when "Winds of Winter" will be released, so fans will just have to wait for the author himself to provide the update about the book's launch date. For now, check out the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 teaser, which is scheduled to premiere this July 2017.
