"The Fate of the Furious" stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson have been reported to be feuding while filming the movie. The "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk" actor and Johnson's conflict was blown out big time by the news according to the film director, F. Gary Gray.

According to 411Mania, the speculations heightened when Johnson did not appear during the CinemaCon theater owners' preview of "The Fate of the Furious" on March 29 in Las Vegas. Diesel along with fellow cast members Charlize Theron, Tyrese Gibson, and Kurt Russell was there. It was noted that the "Moana" actor was there the previous day promoting "Jumanji" and "Baywatch."

Last week, Diesel said in an interview that the issue was blown out of proportion. He said that they are close in a weird way and he knows that his co-actor knows how much effort he puts into the franchise. He added that he protects the "Central Intelligence" actor more than he knows.

The history of the reported feud dates back on August 8, 2016, when Johnson posted on Facebook a message aimed at his unnamed co-star. The post read, "My female co-stars are always amazing, and I love 'em. My male co-stars, however, are a different story." He added, "Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken s-t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses."

He also wrote something aimed at the possible moviegoers that when they watch the film and notice that he was not in his best acting, then his blood is really boiling.

Johnson is known as a peaceful man who is in control of himself. To write about these things means that something really happened. A reliable publication wrote that the actor was mad at Diesel for always coming late to the set especially in the final scenes of "The Fate of the Furious." "The Last Witch Hunter" actor has been noted coming late even in the filming of previous installments. During the last scene filming for the 8th movie, Diesel left abruptly after saying, "Daddy's gone."

CBS News reported that co-stars of the feuding pair revealed that they hardly notice that there is a conflict between the two lead actors. During the film's world premiere last Saturday night in New York, many attributed the feud between the two stars as a normal happening at the set. Kurt Russell said that he never noticed a bad blood on the set. And he said if there is any, it is but natural especially that they are working so hard for the film.

Diesel and Johnson were not seen together during the promotion of the film nor did they pose together on the red carpet. Johnson walked the red carpet earlier while Diesel arrived later. As the director has said that if perfection is being aimed then oftentimes, the process is not always perfect or smooth.

The film is set to be released on April 14. Will Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson's feud affect the box office performance of "The Fate of the Furious"?
