"Attack on Titan" season 2 episode 2 has somehow focused too much on the supporting character Sasha Blouse, but it showed her capabilities. On the other hand, it's only a matter of time before another titan shifting human will make its appearance in season 2.

According to a report from n3rdabl3, episode 2 of the hit anime series has been rather slow and focused too much on Sasha's storyline. It is not that different from how the manga portrayed the story, but it seems the series failed to somehow adapt a little to make it interesting and speed up the pacing a bit.

It was incredible that Sasha was able to defeat a 3-meter titan one-on-one and save a kid from danger. She was also able to show her father how much she has grown since becoming a member of the Survey Corps., but the pacing of the story seems rather slow.

The report said that "Attack on Titan" season 2 episode 2 had somehow adopted how the manga portrayed it. This becomes an issue, though, considering that season 2 is only slated for 12 episodes, so there's concern on how much the anime series will progress after the season ends.

The preview for episode 3 showed that another support character will be given some spotlight to Connie Springer, who went back to his village to save them from the titan attack. But his stay is short-lived as he again departs with members of the Survey Corps., thinking to himself that his family is safe.

The preview also showed a glimpse of the battle in Castle Utgard, where some members of the corps, including Connie, are left to defend their lives from hordes of titans that are coming after them. In the manga, the corps. were forced to take shelter in the castle during the nightfall, which is safer than spending it in an open area and making them easy targets from titans.

With the appearance of Castle Utgard, it's only a matter of time before another human that can turn into a titan make an appearance. The manga showed that the battle in Castle Utgard is the scene where Ymir showed herself to be a titan as well, in order to save her teammates.

It's not clear whether "Attack on Titan" season 2 episode 3 is where Ymir reveals herself as a titan as well, but it's close already. Check out the preview for episode 3 in the video below.
