No actual update yet has been provided with regard to the Google "Nexus 7 2017," but speculations are saying that the device will be released this year. As for the specs, it's said that Google's phablet will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and have 4GB of RAM.

According to a report from GigJets, the leaked specs have so far shown an impressive device from Google. The smartphone is said to also feature 64GB of internal storage space and a size that's likely to be bigger than 7-inches.

The report adds that the Snapdragon 835, which is Qualcomm's latest mobile chip, is the right processor for the "Nexus 7 2017," considering the leaked specs that it will have. This shows that Google is not going to pull back when it comes to the smartphone device, opting to provide impressive specs.

Droid Report is adding that Google also plans to use a different operating system for the "Nexus 7 2017" and not just a regular Android or Chromebook. The OS will actually be a combination of both and the company is calling it Andromeda OS.

It is said to be a rumored latest project OS that Google has been working on. The report adds that the Andromeda OS is said to be able to provide a universal operating system across devices.

The Google "Nexus 7 2017" will also likely be made by HTC, the company that produced Google's Pixel models. Though, there is a big possibility that a different manufacturer could be chosen for the latest model of "Nexus 7."

But what's really on everybody's mind is when does Google plan to release their new device. The report said that the company should be making an announcement about it soon.
