"The Voice" features two real-life lovers as judges along with Adam Levine and Alicia Keys. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been in a relationship for more than a year. The couple has been reported to have shown excessive PDA on the show that viewers did not like at all.

During the premiere episode, fans were not pleased with the focus on the personal relationship of the two judges. The episode has recorded a huge drop in viewership as compared to the previous season. The viewership recorded a drop of 2 million viewers.

According to some observers, too much focus on the Shelton-Stefani relationship has diverted the real essence of the show and that is to discover talents. There is a new report about the relationship between the country singer and Gavin Rossdale's ex-wife.

According to Radar Online, an on-set informer has revealed what the viewers see on "The Voice" is totally different off-cam. The source informed that Stefani is quite irritated of Miranda Lambert's ex-husband and she is not even smiling at Shelton unlike when the camera rolls.

In a previous episode, it was reported that executives of NBC reprimanded the loved up couple when Stefani flirted with a contestant and Shelton got jealous and lashed out. In the following episode the "What U Workin' With" singer revealed that she and the 40-year-old singer have a "make out playlist." Levine responded with "Ew!" and Keys blurted, "That's cute Gwen!"

The on-set snitch revealed that the incident which looks authentic is actually not. It was previously reported that the couple is faking everything for the rating.

Gossip Cop, however, seems to vouch of the relationship between the two judges. According to the source, what they have is real. As for the fakery on the show, there is no way to know as of now.

The truth is that viewers do not enjoy watching too much of their PDAs on "The Voice." The show runners ought to address the comments of the fans to increase its viewership. After all, they watch the show not to see such display of affection; otherwise, they can watch "The Bachelor" replays. The musicality and talent search aspect of the show must be the focus.
