Various news about the upcoming HTC flagship smartphone is getting the fans confused, whether it will be called "HTC 11" or "HTC Ocean." Though this unsolved speculation is filling the air even before the official launch, the unveiling of its many features has already started.

The most expected feature for the "HTC 11" is that it will not have any physical buttons. It is rumored that it will have a 5.5-inch screen but another rumor counterpart arises saying it will look more of a phablet. The new device might give the possibility of smartphone and Note combination appearance, reported Trusted Reviews. Because of this speculations, many are looking forward to the device.

From an official statement from HTC, it is more likely that the "HTC 11" or "HTC Ocean" will have the latest Snapdragon 835 as its processor instead of 821 version. With the recent launch of Samsung Galaxy 8 and Galaxy 8+, the company has virtually blocked the use of the prominent 835 version of Snapdragon. By this, other mobile phone companies had a hard time getting it for their phone CPU. However, HTC is determined to release their upcoming flagship with Snapdragon 835 octa-core CPU with Andreno 540 GPU come May 2017.

The other rumored features of the upcoming "HTC 11" or "HTC Ocean" include a 1440 x 2560 screen display. Its storage will come in two variants, a 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 6GB with 128GB internal storage. The new device is said to be run by Android 7 or Nougat. It will have a 3000mAh battery with the Quick Charge ability. It is also rumored that HTC will be sporting the Google Assistant instead of its HTC Sense or they will make a combination of both for the cloud-based activities.

Confirmation of these speculations will only be assured not until a month passes. Initial price of the new HTC flagship phone might be $550
