"The Walking Dead" series is gearing up for the intense and exhilarating Season 8 following the epic finale that was aired last April 2. Apparently, the walkers will not be the main concern of Rick and his group as an all-out war between the survivors are sure to erupt in the future. The joint coalition between Alexandria, The Kingdom and Hilltop have finally showed Negan that his tyrannical rule will see its end.

In the Season 7 finale titled "The First Day of the Rest of Your Life," Negan is going to Attack Alexandria and he will use Sasha as part of his plan. However, Sasha has another plan in mind where she took a poison pill while she was in a coffin. By the moment Negan opened the coffin upon arriving to Alexandria, he was attacked by Sasha who turned into a walker and in the chaos, a firefight ensued between The Militia and the Saviors.

According to Screen Rant, the epic finale of the previous season set the perfect stage for the "All Out War" arc from "The Walking Dead" comic series. In the comics, the three survivor communities will face Negan and the Saviors together with their allies, Scavengers in an all-out war. Season 8 will surely have a fast and battle oriented event where even comic book fans will have no clue on what to expect as the AMC adaptation is known to break away from the source material.

Negan will definitely return with a vengeance in Season 8 and knowing his nature, he will not let go of this defiance against him so easily. Negan's best fighters, Simon and Arat, will have an active role in the coming events as conflict escalates between the survivor communities. Meanwhile, fans will see Sherry become a villain further down the road.

The producer of "The Walking Dead" TV series, Scott Gimple teased that Glenn Rhee is possible to return in the series as reported by TV Line. The Korean-American survivor may return in the series as part of new flashbacks or visions. His return can also be associated with his baby's arrival but it will take long as Maggie is still far from delivery. The release date for the highly-anticipated Season 8 will be announced at San Diego Comic Con on July 20-23.
