When asked of a possible revival of the show, she said that revivals like the "Gilmore Girls" are fine because of its progressing storyline.

Their show would not work that way because the cast has already grown older. Fans might react to the changes in case it is revived. They prefer it just as it is.

There is a faction of the fans that request for reboots and reunions. However, in her case, the character is what it is, a young girl. Sarah Michelle Gellar admitted she is no longer young and able to do a show like "Buffy."

She believes that the show still works and unless it is broken, she will not fix it. However, at this time, the show is still fine.
