Chinese phone manufacturer Xiaomi recently released the "Redmi Note 4" and it offers impressive specs such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 and 3GB of RAM at an affordable price. The latest smartphone, though, has some competition in the form of Motorola's "Moto G5."

According to a report from The Straits Times, Xiaomi's latest smartphone offers an all-metal unibody, which is a first in the Redmi Note line, that feels sturdy and premium. The device doesn't feel like a budget phone, even if it's priced at only $259.

The report said the "Redmi Note 4" also offers great specs, such as having a 5.5-inch full HD display and being powered by the Snapdragon 625. The device also comes with 3GB of RAM, which is big for a budget phone.

The specs show that the device won't have much of a problem handling daily multitasking activities and with a 4,100 mAh battery that lasted for more than a day, people has an affordable device that's powerful enough to handle daily tasks without a problem and can last all day on a single charge.

Though the "Redmi Note 4" is a powerful phone at an affordable price, it has some competition in Motorola's "Moto G5." TechRadar India reports that Motorola's smartphone comes with a smaller 5-inch display but has a better pixel density.

As for the processors, the "Redmi Note 4" has an advantage as the "Moto G5" is only equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core chipset. The Camera on the devices also goes to Xiaomi's smartphone due to a slightly better f/2.0 front camera.

The "Moto G5's" battery is also smaller with only 2,800 mAh installed in the smartphone. It can likely last for a day, doing a person's daily tasks, but the "Redmi Note 4's" bigger battery can likely go for more than a day.

It's clear that Motorola's "Moto G5" is a great phone in the budget segment, but Xiaomi's "Redmi Note 4" obviously has the advantage. Check out more review about Xiaomi's smartphone in the video below.
