It looks like "Daredevil" Season 3 is on schedule to be released in 2018, either in the summer or in fall, as filming is set to begin this year. The schedule was confirmed by Matt Murdock / Daredevil actor himself, Charlie Cox.

According to a report by MCU Exchange, Cox appeared on a radio show "Film and Telly Stuff With Luke And Al" and was asked about season 3 of the hit series. The actor responded with "I do that later in the year. We'll go back to that."

Though Cox did not say when exactly they will start filming the TV series, but his statement somehow confirms the target release date for "Daredevil" Season 3. Netflix already came out with a teaser video about season 3 of the series last year.

The report said that "Daredevil" is the first collaboration between Marvel and Netflix and it has been well received. Both fans and critics have been praising the show, saying it is Marvel's best series. The success of the show has also inspired the series for Marvel's other characters such as "Jessica Jones," "Luke Cage," and "Iron Fist."

All four characters are members of Marvel's The Defenders, which will also make it to Netflix as a mini-series. The show, which will showcase the four heroes, was revealed to premiere on August 18, 2017.

Though no date has been given on when "Daredevil" Season 3 will come out, reports have been saying that it will be in 2018, which is also the year "Jessica Jones" Season 2 is coming out. Screen Rant reports that season 3 of the hit series will likely air in summer of 2018, the same period "The Defenders" will premiere, or in the fall of 2018, where season 1 of "Luke Cage" and "Jessica Jones" premiered.

The report said that since all five series are tied together, "The Defenders" mini-series will likely reveal more details about the upcoming "Daredevil" Season 3. Fans could possibly get an idea of what kind of threat Murdock will be facing. Check out the teaser trailer for season 3 of the hit series.
