"Rick and Morty" season 3 is one of the most anticipated series from Adult Swim. This has been their signature series and at the same time, the hottest sci-fi comedies on TV. It was almost 18 months since the series ended its last season. And apparently, most of the fans had waited too long for its return on screen.

Just recently, Adult Swim made a huge prank that also falls on the April Fool's Day, however, it wasn't a joke. It was on Saturday night when they pulled off a surprise by streaming the first episode of the most-awaited "Rick and Morty" season 3. It was streamed online where anyone could have the chance of watching it for 30 minutes, Gizmodo reported.

The video ended with a cliffhanger and put off the fans' worries about whether the series will still air or not. The video featured Rick being defeated by the Council of Ricks. He was also overturned by the federation and managed to get rid of Beth's husband named Jerry.

During the end of season 2, many wondered what happened to Rick and who he really was. However, the recent episode by Adult Swim definitely opened up the possibilities on where the series is heading to. Morty will be seen spending most of his time trying to convince Summer that Rick cannot be trusted.

On the other hand, as of now, there is no confirmation yet if the rest of season 3 is coming, Screenrant reported. Apparently, Adult Swim is still silent about what will happen next after they premiered Season 3. It is still not clear if another episode will air soon.

Further, despite the end of the "Rick and Morty" season 3 streamathon, fans can still get the chance of sneaking on its photos posted by Adult Swim. These are teaser photos that fans can opt to view online.
