Digital Foundry just released the technical analysis for the "Splatoon 2" Global Test fire. In addition, several reports claim that playing the game will only let you consume a very little amount of data.

"Splatoon 2" recently launched their Global Test Fire during last weekend. Just recently, Digital Foundry released their technical analysis about the upcoming game. The result came out indicating that the game maintained a 60 fps. The upcoming game's resolution is parallel to its predecessor at 720p while on the dock. In addition, it showed dynamic resolution when it was handheld, which drops below 720p.

Although "Splatoon 2" did not exceed its predecessor, the game still appears interesting given its art style. Nowadays, it is noticeable that most of the gamers prefer 60fps. However, a higher resolution was highly anticipated by gamers given that the Nintendo Switch is a new console, reported Heavy.

Meanwhile, Engadget reported that the game used an unexpectedly low data. According to the report, a single round of the game played in multiplayer mode roughly moved the date usage bar. The entire three-minute game only used 0.011 gigabytes of data, which is roughly equivalent to 10 megabytes.

A 20-minute online play of the game including spending some time matchmaking recorded only 45.6 megabytes of data usage. Furthermore, the game is best for running even high latency connections. It is most likely because the game tasks players to enjoy the gaming environment by painting it and not by hurling attacks to other players.

Nintendo became so popular among gamers because of its trademark uniqueness and innovation. The latest hybrid console, the Switch introduces users to a completely new gaming experience where home consoles can be carried and played wherever you want. Although there are several gamers anticipating that the "Splatoon 2" might spoil this unique feature of the console, the game just proved them otherwise. "Splatoon 2's" lowest data requirement just complemented with how portable its console is.
