A recent leak suggested that the highly anticipated "Red Dead Redemption 2" would be available on September 26. In addition, the game will roll out on Xbox One and PS4.

If there is that game that has been subject to massive speculation, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is a top pick. For several months already, the game has been given predicted synopsis, characters, and even gameplay. The only thing that Rockstar Games was able to release is the game's first-ever trailer and a possible autumn release date. Aside from that, the game studio has been very silent about other game details.

Another leak recently surfaced online from Base, which is the UK-based game retailer. On its official site, the seller advertised that "Red Dead Redemption 2" would be released on September 26. In fact, it was promoted with a £44.99 or approximately $55 release price. This leak is by far the most solid in terms of release date among all the leaks reported.

Rockstar Games, when previously asked about the release date of "Red Dead Redemption 2," gave an autumn 2017 answer. The date on the advertised "RDR2" release posted in Base is consistent with the release date mentioned by the game studio.

Another factor is the traditional day big names in the gaming world release their major and AAA games. It can be observed that the UK release always falls on a Tuesday. Interestingly, the September 26 release date falls on a Tuesday as well.

Aside from the release date, another leak recently became the talk of the town for fans of "Red Dead Redemption 2." A serial leaker credited for his accurate scoops about the upcoming updates for "GTA Online" revealed information about "RDR2." According to him, the highly anticipated western-styled game will have a similarity with the popular game "GTA 5."

He added that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be an open world, single player story. He further added that fans can expect to see weird events as well as gang hideouts in the upcoming Rockstar game.
