Filming for "Poldark" Season 3 wrapped up last month, and it is in the post production phase of development. Even if this is so, there is still no definite date as to when the show will return, but here's what we know so far.

We knew that the show is just having the final touches done because early last month, Eleanor Tomlinson said that they had one week left of filming, and an Instagram post on March 13 by Gabriella Wilde show that they doing post-production duties. Season 1 aired in April, but Season 2 aired September of last year, so there's really no pattern if we're talking about a specific month.

Reports say, though, that "Poldark" Season 3 will premiere in Spring. BBC would want to avoid a clash with "Victoria" to avoid split-viewership, just like what happened in Season 2. What's confirmed is that Season 3 will have 9 episodes, Digital Spy reported.

When Wilde posted about the series being in post-production, she shared a picture showing Ross with his arm around Demelza, and another woman - who wears a cape - approaches them with flowers in her hand. Demelza did not even look at the woman, so many think that this is a love triangle.

Hall Of Fame Magazine said that there are new characters in the upcoming season, and Esme Coy is one of them. She will play the role of Rowella Chynoweth, and it is rumored that she is Ross' love interest. The official media account of "Poldark" has confirmed Coy's joining the show, but it is not clear as to what part she would play.

However, some readers of "The Angry Tide," a novel in the "Poldark" series, say that Coy's character is a manipulator. They say that Rowella had an affair with her sister's husband and made him think that she is pregnant with his child just so she could get his money. It is yet to be confirmed if Coy's character is as bad as others made her sound in "Poldark" Season 3.
