There's a big possibility that Meghan Markle's role as Rachel Zane in "Suits" Season 7 is coming to an end, as the actress is thinking of ditching acting for good. The girlfriend of Prince Harry is thinking of concentrating on her other passions, like philanthropy.

According to a report from E! News, a source has said that Markle had been thinking about quitting acting for a while. The 35-year-old actress recently returned to Toronto to film the new episodes of "Suits" Season 7.

The source said that even before Markle became a couple with Prince Harry, the 35-year-old actress has already been thinking of "transitioning out of acting." The actress has been thinking of concentrating on her humanitarian work.

The report said that Markle spent a week in Indian last January as part of a mission for World Vision Canada. The mission was to help impoverished women and children.

Harper's Bazaar reported that Markle has actually been using her public profile to provide some light on certain issues. She even wrote a series of personal essays for "ELLE" UK that talks about how her mother raised her to "be a global citizen."

Markle wrote in the essay that the standing ovation she got during her speech for the International Women's Day was the point of having her status as an actress. She said she wants to use whatever status she has as an actress to make "a tangible impact."

If the sources are correct, "Suits" Season 7 will likely be Markle's last season with the show. And this could very well be her last project as an actress.

But leaving acting would provide her with more time to continue with her humanitarian work, something that she's indeed passionate about. Check out this promo trailer for "Suits" Season 7, which is scheduled to premiere this summer.
