"I Am Cait" star Caitlyn Jenner surprised his fans when she came out as a woman. She adopted the name Caitlyn Jenner and put aside the Bruce Jenner persona. Her journey towards becoming a woman was not an easy one.

After the cancellation of her show, she worked on publishing a memoir about her life. In her memoir, she disclosed that she disliked that Kris Jenner did not allow her to live the kind of life that she wants to live. The Kardashian matriarch, the memoir says, suppressed her true self as reported by The Hollywood Gossip.

Despite her coming out and sex change, Caitlyn Jenner did not achieve the kind of life that she dreams of. The breakthrough towards fame and success did not happen at all. When her show "I Am Cait" was aired, the ratings were so high brought about by the public's curiosity on her new image. However, the show's rating plummeted and by the end of its second season, it was canceled as reported by Variety.

She appeared in some episodes of the family reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." Her Hollywood career was stalled and failed to soar. Her diminishing popularity was seen as caused by her political views that conflict with her self-interest.

The memoir - "The Secrets of My Life" will be released on April 25 but with lesser publicity. However, it is still expected to become a bestseller knowing that it concerns the whole Kardashian clan and her marriage to Kris Jenner.

A representative of Caitlyn Jenner said, however, that the memoir might damage her relationship with her ex-wife and children. The memoir was described as "deeply troubling." Why did the former athlete insist on publishing her memoir when it might destroy the remaining bond that connects her to her former family?
