"Kong: Skull Island" has been released recently. Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts has started planning for the "King Kong" reboot years ago. However, the script was revised and retooled many times. But there is one scene that has been in his mind for more than two years and was integrated in the film.

Actor Tom Hiddleston has shared the photo and the actual scene in the film in his Twitter account. Cinema Blend reported that the "Crimson Peak" actor's character Conrad and the Leafwings with poisonous fog was captured realistically in the film. Vogt-Roberts shared that the idea popped in his mind at the time the sequel was being planned out.

The sequel of the movie about the gigantic character "King Kong" was announced in July 2014 and was titled "Skull Island." Before Vogt-Roberts was hired to direct the film, the first choice was Joe Cornish but the original film's director Peter Jackson nominated Guillermo Del Toro. The employment of "The Kings of Summer" director was later finalized.

The movie was moved from the Legendary facilities to Warner Bros. studios for a "Godzilla" crossover. With the "Succesful Alcoholics" director working on the film, there were some revisions made to make it perfect. Before the final revisions, the script was a product of multiple scriptwriters like Max Borenstein (who wrote "Godzilla"), John Gatins, Derek Connolly, and Dan Gilroy. All of them were given credit in "Kong: Skull Island."

The script had major changes as a number of screenwriters handled the script. The first draft was written by "Godzilla" 2014's Max Borenstein. The second draft was done by John Gatins then Dan Gilroy collaborated with the two. In 2015, Derek Connolly also rewrote the script. All the mentioned screenwriters were each one given credit.

According to Slash Films, "Godzilla: King of Monsters" is in the pipeline for 2020's "Godzilla vs. King Kong" showdown. Warner Bros. has been generous in sharing its long-range plans.

"Kong: Skull Island's" cast is composed of Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, Jing Tian, and John Goodman. John C. Reilly, Toby Kebbell, Thomas Mann, Terry Notary, Shea Whigham, Cory Hawkins and Jason Mitchell also compose the cast.
