The AMD Radeon RX 580 and Radeon RX 570 Polaris rebrands will be delayed in their launching to mid-April. Though no reason was specified as to why they would be delayed, there's a report that said the market is not enthusiastic about the two new cards.

According to a report from WWCCF Tech, a rumor from the Chinese website Mydrivers first reported about the delay of the RX 580 and RX 570. The new date for the launch of the two graphic cards has been set for April 18, 2017.

The report said that the RX 580 and RX 570 are both based on the Polaris 10 GPU. But the two graphic cards are more similar to the RX 480 and RX 470 and have higher clock speeds.

The chip is said to have clocked at 1340 MHz boost and delivers a 6.17 TFLOPs performance. As for the RX 570, it is said to have delivered a 5.10 TFLOPs of computing performance and clocked at 1244 MHz boost. The report said that the RX 580 is expected to be priced at $199, while the RX 570 is expected to cost at $149.

There's nothing entirely new to what they would be bringing, but the more matured process can provide added benefits when it comes to power consumption. No reasons were given as to why there would be a delay, but it may be due to the similarity of the two cards to the older models.

VideoCardz reports that the market doesn't seem to be too enthusiastic about the AMD Radeon RX 580 and Radeon RX 570 Polaris. This is because the two graphics cards are just being considered as rebrands of the RX 480 and RX 470.

With less than a month remaining before April arrives, people will soon get a clearer idea as to AMD's latest graphic cards. Learn more about the AMD Radeon RX 580 and Radeon RX 570 Polaris in the video below.
