Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's former butler and confidant Paul Burrell claims that the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry has opened the way for Kate Middleton to become the Duchess of Cambridge with ease and convenience.

Burrell says according to The Sun that Middleton has a safer passage than Diana who was caught unaware of how it is to become a member of the Royal Family. Princess Diana was left to do things on her own. Even at the time when she was pregnant with Prince Harry, she was not nurtured well, Burrell claims.

He is reluctant to talk to the Duchess about her mother-in-law whom she did not get to meet. According to Mirror, Paul Burrell admits that he learned a lot about life from Prince Charles ex-wife.

"I came to the University of Diana." Paul Burrell said in his decision to marry his long-time partner Graham Cooper, if Princess Diana was alive she would be proud of him. He was divorced from his wife of 30 years and had two sons.

The 58-year-old former butler worked in the Palace during Princess Diana's time, was involved in a gay scandal but was not condemned by the Queen. She even advised him to get married after the scandal. He met Prince Charles maid and married her. After 30 years of living together, they amicably separated.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton is an amazing woman who carried herself fairly well even at the time she was just married to Prince William. She has gone a long, long way to become the well-loved member of the Royal Family.

Right now, she has been entrusted with some of the Queenly duties and patronages in preparation for becoming the future Queen. Paul Burrell, Princess Diana and the occupants of Kensington Palace will agree that Kate Middleton has succeeded in following the footsteps of the Princess of Wales.
