A new online competition in March for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" has been announced and it's titled the" Kanto X Aloha Regional Rumble." The online competition will be offering players who participate and are qualified the Pokemon Pidgeotite and Steelixite.

The announcement of the online competition was made on the Pokemon website last March 8, which also announced that registrations are already open. The tournament will be Single Battle matches and participants can choose from the Pokemon on the Kanto and Aloha regional Pokedexes to assemble their respective teams.

The website also mentioned that the Pokemon participating in the tournament will be set to level 50 for the duration of the match. The battles will take place on the participants' "Pokemon Sun" or "Pokemon Moon" game.

The rewards for players who are participating are two Mega Stones, which are Pidgeotite and Steelixite. iDigitalTimes reports that participants would only need to compete in three battles to be eligible to receive the two Mega Stones.

The report adds that the International Competition last February provided Beedrillite and Mawilite as prizes for those who participated. The tournament will be held on March 17, and it will begin at 12 a.m. UTC and will end on March 19 11:59 p.m. UTC.

The website said that players would need to log on to their Pokemon Global Link account and select Online Competitions to register for the tournament. A Pokemon Trainer Club account is required to participate in this tournament, the participants own "Pokemon Sun" or "Pokemon Moon" game and their team of eligible Pokemon. Players can check the regulations for the tournament to see which Pokemon are allowed in the competition.

Players who register have until before March 17 to accept the regulations of the tournament on their Pokemon Global Link accounts to become official participants. Check out the video below for more details about the online competition.
