"The Good Place" revealed everything about the show as it arrived to its season finale. Series creator Mike Schur exposed that he made a different twist as the show ended in January. He already had the concept of making certain changes in the plot and thus, he added that all of those episodes during the first season were already mapped out.

The series ended really well with a huge twist. There had been different questions raised among the TV viewers and the witty creator, Schur, opted for some time to be silent which made the rest of you guys puzzled with what happened with the series. It has been many weeks since it had its finale and Schur is finally ready to tackle things behind the scenes, Uproxx reported.

The creator was too excited in making the pilot story when he already had an idea for the twist. He also added that the show is a very tough story to write. However, since he believes that the audiences are becoming savvy, he made a confusing twist during the finale. This is also his technique to ensure that the viewers will not be bored.

Schur committed that he won't continue writing the ending unless he knew where the story leads to. On the other hand, Schur also added that some of the things they did for the series is to invite the analysis among the audience.

Possibly, there could be somebody who would want to guess the ending but in a large scale, the creator got away with the chance for the viewers to predict how the show is going to end, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Definitely, the series creator made 180 degrees twist of what is supposed to be expected as the ending of "The Good Place." With that, neither of the viewers predicted the ending.
