‘Naruto Shippuden’ To End At Episode 500: Finale To Air This March

Ever since February 2007, we've seen Naruto as a young upstart ninja with a dream of becoming the strongest ninja in their village. Little by little he grew up as a fine ninja and finally getting closer to his dream of becoming a Hokage. After more than a decade of entertaining fans all over the world, "Naruto Shippuden" is nearing its end to make way for another story to unveil.

The anime of the hit manga series, "Naruto Shippuden" has finally caught up with the manga that ended December last year. The final stretch of the anime version is now on the tackling the three post-manga novels. The first two novels titled "Naruto: Sasuke's Story - Sunrise" and "Naruto: Shikamaru's Story - A Cloud Drifting in the Silent Dark" was adopted into anime episodes earlier which focused on the post manga stories of Sasuke and Shikamaru.

The final novel titled "Konoha Hiden" will be the final chapter of the "Shippuden" series where it will tackle the story of Naruto and Hinata's wedding. The arc will run for 7 episodes that will mark the 500th episode of the series which will air on March 23 as reported by Saiyan Island. The story will revolve around their friends who are trying to find a suitable gift for the hero and his bride.

The huge fan base of the series are emotional for the series which is about to end and the on-going arc seemed that the show makers are going to retire the series. Some of the fans are still speculating that the series will still continue and will tackle the Naruto epilogue in Masashi Kishimoto's final manga chapter. However, there are no further information regarding the matter and the additional story would ruin the entry of the brand new spin-off series.

According to Comic Book, a new anime series titled "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" is set to release this coming April 5 under TV Tokyo. Naruto's son named Boruto will be the new protagonist in the series which will follow his adventures in becoming like his mentor, Sasuke.
