"Pokemon Sun and Moon" Easter egg event will be launched in March 2017. However, the said event might not be globally available.

Go Nintendo recently reported that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Easter egg event is coming. The special event will randomly give players one of the six Easter egg during the event. The Easter eggs might contain Pokemon such as Turtonator, Passimian, Oranguru, Goomy, Drampa or Mareanie. In addition, this event will also be tied in with new sets of Pokemon merchandise, to be revealed soon.

The upcoming "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Easter egg event will start on March 18 and will run through April 19, 2017. According to reports, the method of distribution the eggs for the month-long event will be detailed soon. Telegiz reported that this special event is only available in Japan. Although no clarification from Pokemon Company or GameFreak about this information has been released yet.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon Other In-Game Rewards

Aside from the upcoming "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Easter egg event, there are also Global Missions that was previously launched. At present, players who have participated in the third global mission in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" can now claim their prizes. Furthermore, those players who have been able to trade five or more Pokemon during the mission will be receiving their rewards too. They will get five rare candies and a Friend ball, which will be helpful in playing "Pokemon Sun and Moon." Moreover, those who used Pokemon Global link are rewarded 4,000 Festival coins during the event.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" is an RPG developed by Game Freak and published by the Pokemon Company. It was launched for the Nintendo 3DS on November 18, 2016.
