Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" starring Emma Watson topped the social media buzz last week. Media-measurement firm comScore and PreAct service reported that the movie generated nearly 130,000 new conversations.

The generated buzz of "Beauty and the Beast" could be attributed to Disney's action in releasing a new behind-the-scene clip last Valentine's Day, February 14 according to Variety. The live-action romance adaption from the classic Disney animated film generated a total of 987,000 new conversations on various social media.

Bill Condon, known for directing Twilight: Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 and 2 and Oscar-winning film Dreamgirls, is set to direct the "Beauty and The Beast" adaptation. Emma is joined by Dan Stevens as the Beast.

Emma is not the only A-lister star in this film. Ewan McGregor would play as Lumiere, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Kevin Kiline as Maurice, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, and Audra McDonald as Madame de Garderobe.

Next on the list is Disney's "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," after it generated 101,000 new conversations, according to a report by Yahoo. Its director Rian Johnson, known for his previous sci-fi film Looper, gave some details last Feb. 15.

He said that the story will resume after the events of its predecessor film, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." It also generated buzz after it was noticed that the Spanish translation of the film's title indicated that the last Jedi is not just one, CBR has reported.

It is also the special celebration in April. Also last Feb. 15, Jimmy Vee was revealed to replace the late Kenny Baker in the iconic role as the helpful android R2-D2.

Next is the newly released Fox's "Logan" starring Hugh Jackman is his signature role Wolverine. It generated 68,000 new conversations after it was screened last Feb. 17 at the Berlin Film Festival.

Logan opened with stellar reviews from critics for Hugh's performance and the story. It would have its wide release on March 3.
