The drama continues as Robin Thicke and Paula Patton's custody war becomes messier, and the cops are involved again. The actress was granted sole custody of the ex-couple's son after Thicke was accused of child abuse.

According to The Sun, Thicke has strongly denied the allegations, but he lost temporary custody of his son while investigations took place. He has since been granted court-ordered visitation with his son. On Thursday, Patton was supposed to hand off Julian to a court-appointed monitor.

However, according to TMZ, things went south when the ex-couple met again recently. Cops were called during Thicke and Patton's recent meeting in Malibu after their 6-year-old son, Julian, reportedly refused to be handed over for a visit with Thicke once again. The 39-year-old singer was pictured waiting along with a court appointed monitor for his visit, and he claimed that Patton was more than an hour late of the appointment, rumors say.

However, sources close to Patton said that the actress arrived exactly on time, but noticed that Thicke was within feet of her, which is a violation of the restraining order. 911 was called, as is standard protocol in their custody agreement.

Thick was pictured leaving LAX Saturday morning and he is clearly looking pained. The custody war is clearly taking its toll on the singer. Last month, Patton accused Thicke of domestic abuse and said that he has physically assaulted her and also of abusing their son.

The actress claimed that Julian allegedly told his principal and school's mediator that his father had hurt him. Pattonn alleged that the spanking caused Julian to develop a slight stutter and scratch himself uncontrollably. Thicke claimed that the spanking is an agreed -upon method of punishment. Thicke and Patton divorced in 2015 after almost 10 years of marriage.
