"John Wick 2" has been out in theaters for barely a week, but fans are already wondering if a third film will ever be made. One person who sort of has the answer to this question is none other than the leading man himself, Keanu Reeves.

In a recent interview with The Metro, the 52-year old actor revealed that he would be more than happy to reprise his role as John Wick if a third film were ever to happen. The former assassin's dreams of retiring and leaving behind his bloody past always seem to get derailed somehow, so having a third film that could finally provide some closure to his story makes a lot of sense.

In the interview, Reeves added that whether or not a "John Wick 3" movie gets made will be "up to the audience." "If people like what we did, they go to see it, and watch it then hopefully, I'll get a chance to find out what happens to John", said Reeves.

"In the second one he's getting a little anti-establishment so I wonder what so I wonder what that's going to mean. I want to see what happens to that guy", Reeves added. Reeves loves the John Wick character as much as the fans do and explained that the sequel takes viewers a little bit deeper into John's former life. The introduction of new characters like the Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) a leader of a group of beggars, and rival hitman Cassian (Common) help us know more about Wick's past.

"John Wick 2" has opened to plenty of positive reviews from critics and if it is successful enough then there is a good reason to believe that a third "John Wick" movie will be made. In an earlier interview with Collider, director Chad Stahelski revealed that the people at Lionsgate had asked him to come up with some possible narrative ideas for a potential third installment in the "John Wick" franchise.
