Good news for fans of "Stranger Things," especially everyone's favorite telepath. The hit Netflix show just released its first teaser for season 2 and anyone can see that Eleven is alive and well.

The teaser for season 2 of "Stranger Things" was shown during Super Bowl LI, and while the outcome of the game brought mixed emotions - both joy and sadness for the winners and losers - seeing the boys of Hawkins, Indiana in their classic Ghostbusters gear brought a lot of excitement for fans of the show.

ET Online reports that it seems that the monster that terrorized the town, which was called Demogorgon by the boys, is still out and about, and might take on the town in a much larger scale. Aside from that, the teaser - which was around 37 seconds, also showed lightning storms and a giant-like spider monster.

At the end of the teaser, the words Halloween are seen, which gives viewers the knowledge that season 2 of "Stranger Things" will be available by then. Rolling Stone reports that many have been waiting for news about the show's season 2 ever since the announcement of its renewal.

The sci-fi series set in 1980's proved to be a hit with viewers, and the show even one a SAG Award for Best Drama Ensemble. In the said award show, actor David Harbour, who plays Chief Hopper in the series, gave a very passionate speech that drew a standing ovation from its audience.

In a recent guesting at "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon", Harbour also addressed the clamor of fans to bring back the character of Barb, who was the best friend of Nancy Wheeler. Barb became one of the early victims of the Demogorgon, and her death was confirmed when Eleven went to the Upside Down. Harbour said, though, that although the death of Barb will be touched on briefly in season 2 of "Stranger Things," she is not coming back.
