The next update for "GTA 5 Online" is preparing players for the year's romantic holiday. While some reports seem to suggest that the next major update for the game's online mode will not come until March, fans should still remember that Valentine's Day is right around the corner.

There is no guarantee that fans will be seeing some new events or DLC announced for Valentine's Day, but Rockstar will still be re-releasing content tied to the event. We have yet to receive any info about what the next big project will be for GTA 5, but some fans believe that they already have it.

According to a report from The Express, the Import/Export DLC which was released late last year was supposed to be last hurrah for GTA Online, but due to the game's popularity Rockstar decided to change their plans. So what does this mean for any future updates of GTA Online? It simply means that any updates released from here on out will not have any significant impact on the gameplay mechanics of the game's multiplayer mode.

There is currently no word yet on when new DLC for GTA Online will become available, fans are still expecting something from Rockstar this coming Valentine's Day. There is also speculation that Rockstar will instead be re-releasing old content instead of something new. The developer has been pretty silent on what they have lined up for the game, although there are reports that Rockstar already has something in the works.

The reports say that the team has been split up into smaller groups so they can all work on different projects. Progress has become much slower for GTA Online due to the fewer number of workers left. A group of modders who could no longer keep on waiting for an expansion from Rockstar have decided to take matters into their own hands.

The modders go by the name "OpenIV, and they have come up with their very own version of Liberty City. The map is scheduled for release in Spring 2017, and will fit right in with the original map of GTA 5.
