Our previous report shared rumors that Gary Young is going to play the highly anticipated Mr. Willoughby in "Outlander" Season 3. Now, it has been confirmed that he will indeed play the character, and another key player is added, too!

According to E! News, Mr. Willoughby is a Chinese man who knows a lot about Eastern medicine. He speaks English well, but he hides it when it suits him. He is a talented poet in exile, and fans say he is going to become Jamie's (Sam Heughan) confidante.

The role goes to New Zealand actor Gary Young. He recently appeared in the Netflix feature "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny" as well as the Australian miniseries "Secret City." Fans reported spotting him in Edinburgh during a filming for "Outlander," and that's when the news about him playing Mr. Willoughby first circulated.

Meanwhile, girl fans would be excited to know that another good-looking actor will join the "Outlander" cast. Charlie Hiett has been confirmed to join the series, and he will play British Captain Thomas Leonard - the inexperienced captain of the Artemis that takes Jamie and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) on their Caribbean voyage, Entertainment Weekly said.

Leonard is a "by-the-book de facto captain" who gets promoted quickly due to the untimely deaths of his commanding officers. He does take his life job seriously but it weighs heavily on his young shoulders. He also wants to do what is right by the British Navy - even if it's not right by his own personal morals."

Season 3 will pick up right after Claire travels through to the stones to return to her 1948 life. Meanwhile, Jamie struggles from the loss of Claire as well as his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden. Claire attempts to make a life in the 20th century, but she is haunted by the memory of her lost love. She finds a way to go back to Jamie, but the question is, when she does, will they still be the same people that have been separated all those years ago?
