During a pre-taped interview in "Good Morning America," actress Viola Davis, when asked about "How To Get Away With Murder," said that it's going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better.  The 'worse' part could be Annalise's incarceration.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Annalise (Viola Davis) will be behind bars when "How To Get Away With Murder" returns. Annalise was under investigation after Rebecca's (Katie Findlay) body was discovered. Police was trying to turn Wes (Alfred Enoch) into their star witness, but he met an untimely death in the house fire.

Executive producer Pete Nowalk said that when they realized that in Episode 2, Annalise will be arrested, they said that would mean that she would be in prison. "That terrifies me, because who could make prison more interesting than "Orange Is the New Black?" he added. But he also said that they found a way to make it awesome.

When asked about her character and last fall's explosive events during the GMA interview, Davis said that she is waiting for things in the series to get better. Annalise and Wes' relationship has been central to the show, and his death gives Davis fantasy that it would catapult her into wanting the best for the Keating 5, the actress said.

Nowalk added that Annalise would not be alone in her prision cell.  Because of overcrowding, fans of "How To Get Away With Murder" will see her sharing her prison cell with other inmates. She would have to deal with these women, and it's not going to be good, Nowalk confirmed. He said, though, that although Annalise handled hundreds of cases over the years, she won't be seeing any familiar faces in jail.

Meanwhile, Nate uncovers a crucial piece of information that could threaten his own innocence, while detectives call Oliver in for questioning on, Broadway World reported.  "How to Get Away with Murder" returns Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
