Indie game, "Friday the 13th: The Game" gets another update, showcasing Jason with his new abilities to make some sicker kills and hunt. This involves a number of out of the box ideas and a number of classic and reminiscent power ups.

In a recent report from WWG, a new gameplay video was released by the publishers, Gun Media and this highlights Jason's new ability, specifically allowing him to instantly warp to certain locations in the map. As opposed to his slow move, the warp ability lets him instantly travel on strategic locations for easier hunting.

The game portrays Jason as the classic killer and the team behind the development of the game stayed true to his nature. Being a madman with a large built and hellbent on killing the camp counselors, he is still limited with speed. This requires players controlling him plan out attacks and rely on espionage to effectively go for the kill.

As reported at Blasting News, a number of players have experienced Jason warping around the area, though it was once considered as a glitch at first. Still, this provided some unexpected jump-scares, which developers find opportunity in exploiting.

"Friday the 13th: The Game" also isn't everybody's average co-op game. While fellow camp counselors are highly advised to help each other in order to escape the onslaught being brought by Jason, there's still the possibility of having to kill allies for the greater good or the other way around.

In the demo, it was shown that one supposedly survivor, barely making his escape from Jason after the psychopath effectively uses his warp abilities, just got killed by a speeding car, which happens to be driven by one of the other counselors. Individual survival sometimes count more than having to save somebody else in the game, but it is quite unclear whether this would actually impact the scores in-game.
