Margot Robbie will be ditching the face paint, hair dye, fishnet stockings, and baseball bat for a pair of ice skates as her next movie will see her portray disgraced figure skater Tonya Harding. Fans who have gotten used to the actress looking like DC Comics' villain Harley Quinn may not recognize her in her new role.

People Magazine has obtained a photo of the "Suicide Squad" star as Tonya Harding and she literally looks like a completely different person. The photo, which was posted on the magazine's Twitter account, shows the 26-year old Robbie wearing what appears to be a face prosthetic and some kind of body suit.

She was also wearing a blue sweater and a pair of high-waisted denim jeans, which was the fashion norm back in the 90s. She also appeared to be wearing a curly blonde wig which made her look eerily similar to the former ice skater. According to The Telegraph, this is the first time Margot Robbie has been spotted working in a film set since she married her boyfriend Tom Ackerley in a private ceremony.

The film titled "I, Tonya", tells the story of Tonya Harding's success in the figure skating world and the infamous incident in which a hitman hired by her ex-husband Jeff Gilooly (Sebastian Stan) attacked her rival Nancy Kerrigan in an attempt to injure her. The horrific moment was caught on camera with Kerrigan crying on the floor in pain while repeatedly yelling "Why?"

Fortunately, the injury sustained by Kerrigan was not as severe and she was still able to compete and finish in 2nd place in 1994 Winter Olympics while Harding finished eighth. Harding was able to avoid prison time for her role in the attack after Jeff Gilooly took a plea bargain in exchange for implicating his ex-wife. Harding was fined $160,000 placed on three years' probation, and sentenced to perform 500 hours of community service.

Besides portraying the role of the disgraced skater, Margot Robbie will also be producing the film. It is scheduled for release in 2018.
