"Fargo" season 3 is sure to happen. In fact, production has already started a week ago. The cast revealed details about the upcoming season during the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena, California.

The FX show's Ewan McGregor reveals that he is going to play a dual role, brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy. He said that they are brothers but their lives are exact opposites. The 45-year-old actor said that he is learning the Fargo accent for his role.

According to Screen Crush, McGregor finds the Fargo accent as the hardest accent. He said, I didn't like the idea of them starting without me, plus the Fargo dialect coach was there, and I needed him. It's [a] very difficult, strange accent to lock into. I don't know if it's harder as a non-American. It's the hardest accent I've ever done, and I've done Dutch once!"

The "Our Kind of Traitor" actor revealed that this is not going to be his first dual role. He has played two roles in "The Island" and in Rodrigo Garcia's "Last Days in the Desert."

Paste Magazine reported that Carrie Coon will play the role of Sheriff Gloria Burgle. She describes her role as someone who "represents a kind of small-town aesthetic, a sense of community that she feels has been eroded by forces outside of her." She added, "Her personal life is kind of eroding and she's trying to hang onto who she is."

Mary Elizabeth Winstead describes her "Fargo" season 3 role as Nikki Swango. She is street smart and has a tendency to connive but has a heart informed Winstead.

As for the V.M. Vargas character, David Thewlis did not tell much about him as he himself did not know what V.M. stands for. He added that his character is a "Machiavellian-type character and very scrupulous."

Michael Stuhlbarg as Sy Feltz works with Emmit Stussy and has a relationship with the two brothers. Stuhlbarg's character will be in constant communion with them.

According to executive producer Warren Littlefield, the upcoming season has a connection with the past seasons. The setting will be the year 2010 where technology and social media is at its peak. These two aspects will impact season 3.

"Fargo" Season 3 cast includes Jim Gaffigan, Karan Soni, Scoot McNairy, Shea Whigham, Thomas Mann, and Fred Melamed. The Noah Hawley creation will air on Fox sometime in April.
