"Resident Evil 4" was one of the best videogame in the history and it was all thanks to the innovation, Capcom introduced in the series. As a commemoration from a hardcore fan, ShiguWorks kept working on "Resident Evil 3.5," a version of the game originally shown at E3 2003, but never saw the light of the day, until now.

As recently reported at DSOGaming, the fan-based game is now making some serious progress and ShiguWorks just made it in time for the 12th anniversary of the original "Resident Evil 4." However, the group's recreation of the game is slightly different, hence it is called "Resident Evil 3.5: Recreation."

"Recreation" is a similar horror game created using both resources from "Resident Evil 4" and "Resident Evil 5" along with some original material slapped in for a completely new experience. Still, the same chilly atmosphere can be experienced with supposedly Capcom's project.

The game was actually the first project Capcom had been working on before the company switched over to what "Resident Evil 4" is today, though there's some risk of copyright infringement regarding the brand. ShingWorks' aim is to bring this game to the public, though the small chance of Capcom chasing over the licenses is something to be aware as well.

At the moment, a demo is currently available for downloaded as Stevivor have made an update to its recent post. The demo game can be downloaded through this link and it is highly advisable to do so now before any branding problems ensues, putting the game and any future development into a halt.

ShiguWorks also stated something about continuing the project. This will be possible if anybody would like to take part in the project of developing the game further, which will focus on other aspects of the game in order to make it a complete experience.
