A restaurant in Tokyo has a long list of rules for its customers. No phones, no shorts, no perfume are just some of the rules they have.

Nihonryori Ryugin in Tokyo has three Michelin stars and the only restaurant with a list of rules larger than the menu. Nihonryori Ryugin's rules include no shorts, no mobile phones, even wearing perfume is banned. The restaurant, when customers are making a reservation for their courses, ask each individual for foods they are allergic as well as alcoholic drinks, and foods that the customers cannot eat. Nihonryori Ryugin will either substitute a different dish or remove it from the meal for those foods that the customer cannot eat.

At Nihonryori Ryugin, guests are required to dress in a semi-formal manner. Wearing T-shirts are not allowed for both men and women. In addition, wearing short pants and sandals are not allowed for men. Furthermore, diners are not allowed to bring their own wine. For guests who make reservations and cancels it on the day of the reservation will be fined approximately $172 per guest that does not show up.
