A special instalment of "Treehouse Live" dedicated solely to Nintendo Switch games will be aired, the company announced. The livestream will air on YouTube and Twitch on January 13 at 9:30 a.m. EST, which is only mere hours after the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch press conference event.

Posting through its Twitter account, Nintendo of America has promised fans that they will be given an "in-depth look at upcoming games in the Nintendo Switch Presentation". It is still unknown whether this will be limited to launch titles only or if it will include other titles slated to come out within this year.

The Nintendo Switch live event will air on January 12, 11 p.m. EST and will be broadcasted straight from Tokyo. The gaming company has promised to release some details regarding the Switch's price, launch titles, and release date. It will then be followed by a special hands-on event for the press. The public will have their own hands-on event later that weekend in New York City.

In a report by Polygon, the Switch is expected to launch in March 2017 and games such as "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" are expected to follow shortly afterwards, if not on the console's launch day. Anticipation for the console has led to several fake leaks and rumors regarding its launch library, and it has even led many gamers to come up with their own games for the Switch in response.

It is one way for Nintendo fans to pass the time until we can finally get all of the information that we want regarding the console - namely the launch date. The Switch will also be getting some accessories courtesy of Snakebyte who have already announced what they plan to release for the upcoming console. Photos of the accessories can be seen on Gamespot's website.
