Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn was well received by fans when "Suicide Squad" was released which is why a spin off of the movie is on its way. The spin off is entitled "Gotham City Sirens" and will feature some of DC's best female villains like Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn as well as Catwoman and Poison Ivy. Megan Fox is said to be in the running for the Poison Ivy role but no confirmations have been made just yet.

Megan Fox was rumored to have been considered for the role of Catwoman in "The Dark Knight Rises" but Anne Hathaway was cast in the role instead. Now it looks like Megan Fox has another chance to play one of DC's female villains as she is being considered for the role of Poison Ivy. Rumors have it that Megan Fox is a huge comic book fan and she has ordered Harley Quinn issues 14, 17 and 38 online as reported by Bleeding Cool.

However, she isn't the only one being considered to play Poison Ivy as stars like Annalise Basso, Holland Roden and Maggie Geha are being considered for the role, they're all redheads, by the way and Poison Ivy is a redhead. Although luckily for Megan Fox, being a red head isn't a requirement to play Poison Ivy, as Uma Thurman, who is blonde, as The Mirror pointed out, and she played Poison Ivy in the 1997 movie, "Batman & Robin".

"Suicide Squad" made more than $700 million at the box office, according to The Verge, which makes sense for it to have sequels as well as spin offs since there are a lot of good stories worth exploring within the franchise. If Megan Fox does land the job, she'll no doubt make a good Poison Ivy and hopefully she will click with Margot Robbie to make the movie rake in millions in the box office.
