As New Year's Eve is coming days from now, people are on their way to supermarkets to select the latest champagnes and the best food for the evening. While others plan to have a year end party and count down to 2017. Though there are also people who would just like to relax, lay back in the living room and watch TV while reminiscing on how the year went by with family and friends in a less crowded environment.

For people who do not like to party and celebrate the night in bars and clubs or joining the crowd in Times Square, renting a cabin in the woods alone, with a loved one or with your family is one way to go.According to Travel and Leisure, Maine Huts and Trails offers hiking and snowshoeing as well as access to the forest and nearby lakes around the area for an adventure that would start your 2017.

If your not into cabins or hiking in the woods, you could also check tiny secluded houses in New York and living spaces for just for $99 per night. According to CBS News, there is no WiFi access in the area meaning your stay will completely be very private from social media, making it a very peaceful New Year's Eve.

Another option is a dive bar. If you're into dive bars, there are plenty to go to around the City which you are from. This is one option for people who love to sink some gin and whiskey while listening to old school music.

Another way to celebrate New Year's Eve is merely just relaxing in a remote spa. Celebrating the year end with a facial and a massage would make it more relaxing making a fresh start to the coming year ahead.

For travelers, traveling a country which does not celebrate New Year on Dec 31 is another. Exploring the culture of other countries especially in Asia is also one way to avoid the bustling crowds of America.

Lastly, staying home. There is no better way to celebrate the festive night but just staying home and relax while sipping a bottle of wine and eating festive foods with family members. For more details about the latest news and updates feel free to visit Travelers Today.
