"Prison Break" has been dormant for a few years now. However, it is finally confirmed to have its Season 5 release this coming spring of 2017. The upcoming season will be bringing back its original casts and continue its unending deceptional storylines.

According to iDigitalTimes, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) did not really die, and it is all just a deception. However, Michael Scofield might suffer some memory loss this coming "Prison Break" Season 5 due to the electrocution. On the other hand, the actor Dominic Purcell who played as Lincoln Burrows also revealed that Michael Scofield got involved with the terrorist group ISIS. Upon Michael Scofield's decision to get out he was sent to prison in Yemen.

Fox has announced the revival of the series in August, and it was confirmed by several casts. There are two casts who will not be coming back such as Alexander Mahone (William Fichtner) and Donald Self (Michael Rapaport). Moreover, Robert Knepper had an interview with Digital Spy, and he stated that the series creator Paul Scheuring could not think of any good plots for the characters.

There will be several new faces that have been announced for "Prison Break" Season 5. The new casts are Mark Feuerstein as Scott Ness, Inbar Lavi as Sheba, Rick Yune as Ja, Augustus Prew as Whip, Amin El Gamal as Cyclops, Marina Benedict as A&W, and Kunal Sharma as Sid. "Prison Break" Season 5 will be detailing the death of Michael Scofield which was actually faked. Some spoilers have revealed that Michael Scofield's death was actually just a deception.

It was previously revealed by Dominic Purcell himself, and he stated that Michael Scofield became a part of a government plan that has a left a mark on him.
