The cartoon series DuckTales was one of Disney's many gems. The series aired from September 18, 1987 to November 28, 1990. It featured the adventures of Donald Duck's nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie along with multi-billionaire Scrooge McDuck.

Episodes focused on their adventures while gathering treasures that Scrooge would want all for himself. Each scene felt like a mini Indiana Jones movie during a time where kids had no easy access to the internet for exploration.

Fans were dismayed at how few episodes were there. However, Disney announced a reboot of the series which is to debut in the summer of 2017As an animated series, the main issue fans had was with the animation and the voice acting. However, recent developments showed the comedic ensemble that Disney had planned for the reboot.

The new Ducktales series would feature Dr. Who's David Tennant as the prudent Scrooge McDuck. David Tennant plays as the Doctor in Dr. Who where he features a version of quirkiness and charm to the character. Fans adored the choice of David Tennant and hopes that he will bring the same level of charm as he did in Dr. Who.

Comedians Bobby Moynihan, Ben Schwartz, and Community's Danny Pudi are to voice Louie, Dewey, and Huey respectively. As comedians, these three are expected to provide the level of chemistry and shenanigans the characters have.

Voicing the adorable Webby is Kate Micucci who is both adorable and dorky in her own right. Kate Micucci has always been on comedic roles that features how awkward and roky she is. While Beck Bennett is to voice the adventurous Launchpad McQuack.

The sequel has been showing signs of the right direction to retain the essence of fun and adventure the previous series had. Now that the voice acting has been revealed to be promising, the animation should blend with the style and tone.
