Meet the Randall family. "Outlander" Season 3 released an image showing Claire holding Brianna, her daughter with Jamie.

Entertainment Weekly reported that a first look at the show's season 3 highlight. Claire, played by Caitriona Balfe, gives birth to her daughter with Jamie (Sam Heughan), and introduces her daughter, Brianna to Frank (Tobias Menzies), as the man who will raise her.

Season 2 ended with Jamie forcing Claire to leave Scotland due to the impending Battle of Culloden, so she is now back in her original timeline together with her husband from the 20th century, Frank Randall. However, when she left 18th century Scotland, she was not alone. She was already pregnant with Jamie's child, Brianna.

Season 3 will pick up where the previous season left off, with Brianna now born. Actress Caitriona Balfe said that season 3 will be a new beginning, and it is going to be wonderful. Balfe said that Claire thinks that Jamie is dead and will look forward to a life with her little family. She also hinted that Frank will be coming to terms with his wife, and they will be trying to patch things up after she reappeared.

Fans say that it is such a relief to see Claire finally able to bring a child into the world, after she lost her first child, Faith. While it's difficult for Claire to be away from the love of her life, it's also equally difficult for Frank, since he will be faced with the responsibility of raising a child that's not his own.

Meanwhile, Jamie is stuck in the past and suffers from the aftermath of his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire. Fans can't wait until "Outlander" season 3 begins next year, so that they would know if there is a chance for Jamie and Claire to be together again.
