According to a report from E! News, the multi-talented actress took to Instagram last Monday to share the news that she had purchased back their old farm where she grew up on as a child, which her family lost to bankruptcy many years ago.

Amy shared on her account an adorable home video that was taken by her father in a cornfield, Gordon, which also features her, as a young girl, trying to run away from home. Then she wrote in the caption: "Video from the farm when I was running away in the cornfield and my dad was taunting me because I wanted him to come with me… We lost the farm when we lost everything else. But today I got to buy it back for him."

The multi-awarded star also shared a screenshot of her Facetime chat with her father when she publicized the exciting news. In addition, conferring to Mashable Asia, even though their family were financially steady for years, Amy’s father was unfortunately diagnosed with multiple-sclerosis when she was just 12-years-old and so they ended up going bankrupt and lost the farm.

In 2013, Amy shared about her father's condition as she was interviewed with the Morning Edition's David Greene for NPR. His father Gordon, presently lives in an supported living facility. This isn’t the first-time Amy has hit it off with our hearts with an amazingly sweet gift for her father. Way back in April, the Amy set up a Facetime call between her father and his ultimate celeb crush, Goldie Hawn.
