The development of the PlayStation 4 exclusive title, "God Of War," is going steady and on schedule. But, the director discusses the game featuring alternate paths. This may also lead to alternative story outcomes, and ultimately, even the endings may be varied.

Gamerant reported that game director Cory Barlog sees "God of War" heading to an entirely different development path with varied gameplay paths. The Sony Interactive Entertainment Santa Monica Studio have made it quite obvious that aside from Kratos, everything will be a departure to the "God of War" games that was ever released on Sony's platforms.

Barlog confirmed one particular rumor about the game having multiple paths in Twitter posted by a fan. He was referring to the demo that have been released back in the past E3 event last June. This indicates that players will have multiple choices or approaches to reach their destinations with the PS4 exclusive.

GamingBolt also reported that Barlog assured the fans about the game's development, which went quiet for some time after its initial announcement. Despite being "hectic" as he describes it, the development for "God of War" is still on-going at their planned pace.

The fans worry about the game's absence with this year's PlayStation Experience, especially with the fact that it was a first party title, and it is one of Sony's best-selling titles ever on the PlayStation 2. Santa Monica Studio also provides no regular updates, which causes a bit of concern to the fans who have been following the game development's status.

Fans have also speculated before that "God of War" will have multiplayer features and will ditch Kratos as the protagonist. This rumor hasn't been confirmed by the studio, leaving fans not much to expect, but the story, which jumped from the usual Greek mythology to the unexplored Norse lore.
