Anxiety and nervousness are among the common feelings for first-time passengers. Thus, in order to relieve the stress and anxiety of the airport passengers today, San Francisco Airport has reported that they now have a new trick to calm and give their passengers the ease of traveling.

For the previous months, therapy dogs and cats are among the most popular trick. However, SFO has finally introduced the new member of the therapy animals which is the therapy pig.

Lilou is one of the newest members of the therapy animals which will give each passenger a new way to enjoy while waiting for their flight. It has been trained to give tricks and to give enjoyable entertainment to those passengers who are somewhat tired and stressed due to their travels. Lilou is a Juliana-breed pig which joined the airport's trained animals last December 5, 2016.

According to the Wag Brigade, this practice has been implemented in order to give delight and surprises to the guests. Lilou, aside from being a trained animal, also wears charming costumes along with its painted nails. According to Dr. Jennifer Henley, Lilou is the first pig in their animal assisted therapy program.

It would be wonderful to witness how the pig can ease the anxiety of the passengers. Those animals under the therapy programs are trained to roam around the airport in order to please waiting for passengers at the boarding gates and somehow relieve their stress. It has been the pride of San Francisco International Airport to introduce the idea of the first ever therapy pig named Lilou.

If you are among those regular passengers of SFO or might be one of those first-time passengers, then you can get the chance of enjoying the tricks and delight of Lilou, the therapy pig!
